Lifeline is built for moments when speaking up or calling for help can make a situation worse, providing a discreet way to signal for support through normal communication. By acting only on user-defined triggers, Lifeline keeps control with the user while preserving access to emergency services.
Our Journey
In everyday environments, on campuses, in bars and clubs, and across our cities, situations can become unsafe quickly. From harassment and escalating disputes to coercion and trafficking, many threats occur in moments when openly asking for help can increase risk. Lifeline was created to address that reality by providing a discreet way to signal for help through normal communication, or hidden triggers without drawing attention or escalating conflict.

"Lifeline was born from the reality of watching people I care about repeatedly end up in dangerous situations; friends, classmates, and loved ones navigating environments where safety isn’t guaranteed and asking for help can make things worse. Over time, it became clear that relying only on visible or reactive solutions wasn’t enough. Lifeline was built with the image of a safer world in mind: one where people can quietly protect themselves, reduce risk before it escalates, and get support without drawing attention or putting themselves in harm’s way."
