New Feature Announcement

Feeling unsafe doesn’t always come with the freedom to make a call or unlock your phone.

Today, we’re introducing a new Lifeline feature designed for exactly those moments — when you need help quickly, quietly, and without drawing attention.

When This Matters Most

There are situations where reaching for your phone can make things worse, not better.

  • Walking alone at night

  • Being followed

  • Feeling uncomfortable or threatened

  • Situations where calling or speaking isn’t an option

Lifeline is built for these moments.

You can activate Lifeline with your phone still in your pocket, without opening an app, making a sound, or alerting anyone around you.

What Happens When Lifeline Is Triggered

Once activated, Lifeline immediately sends out an emergency alert on your behalf.

That alert includes:

  • Your current location

  • The time the alert was triggered

  • Ongoing location updates until help arrives

The alert can be sent to:

  • Your nearest emergency responders

  • Designated contacts of your choosing

  • Or both

You decide who receives it.

Designed to Be Quiet and Fast

Lifeline doesn’t require:

  • Unlocking your phone

  • Typing a message

  • Making a call

  • Opening an app

It’s built to work in seconds, even in high-stress situations.

Once triggered, Lifeline continues to share location updates automatically, so responders or trusted contacts can follow what’s happening in real time.

Why We Built This

In an emergency, discretion matters.

Not every situation allows you to say, “I need help.”Not every situation allows you to safely pull out your phone.

Lifeline exists to close that gap, giving you a way to get help without escalating the situation.

Try the Demo

We’ve added a live demo to show exactly what a Lifeline alert looks like.

The demo simulates a real alert, including location sharing and updates "no messages are actually sent."

It’s the easiest way to understand how Lifeline works when it matters most.

What’s Next

This update is part of a broader effort to make personal safety:

  • More accessible

  • More discreet

  • And easier to activate when seconds matter

We’re continuing to refine Lifeline based on real-world use cases, campus safety needs, and user feedback.

More updates coming soon.
